Also Leute, die Nacht war echt hart, Fingerbluten beim ganzen Infoeintragen - das ganze hat sich aber gelohnt, ich habt ca. 30 Alben, also ca. 3-4GB Musik zur Verfügung, alle handverlesen, das beste aus dem alternativen Sektor der letzten paar Jahre. Und das beste: das waren nur Buchstaben A-D .... da kommt also noch mehr. Vielleicht ein paar Wünsche? Dann schreibt doch einfach hier per Commentfunktion. Oder habt selbst Alben hochgeladen? Auch dann solltet ihr euch melden.

Die Entwicklung verlõuft gradlinig. War das erste
Album "Bitte ziehen sie durch" im Jahr 2000 noch ein
reines HipHop-Album mit lustigen Battle-Texten, war
das zweite Album "Noch fuenf Minuten, Mutti" drei
Jahre spõter schon viel elektronischer, weniger
lustig und staerker an Diskomusik als an Rap
orientiert.
Wieder drei Jahre spõter erscheint das nõchste Album
"Aufstand im Schlaraffenland" und schon wieder wurde
der HipHop-Anteil heruntergeschraubt. So sehr, dass
Tracks wie die Single "Remmidemmi (Yippie Yippie
Yeah)" sich eher nach stampfendem Elektro-Pop mit
geradem 4/4-Takt anh÷ren. Das Grundthema ist auf
allen drei Alben aber annõhernd gleich geblieben:
Reichen, verzogenen G÷ren mal so richtig zu zeigen,
wie in Bremen gefeiert wird.

Auf die Dauer ist das Thema aber auch abgenutzt und
deshalb bleibt wenig Am³santes ³brig. Der Reimanteil
wurde ja stark zur³ckgefahren und damit auch all die
lustigen Metaphern, Bilder und Vergleiche, mit denen
Deichkind auf ihrem ersten Album schlagartig bekannt
wurden. Stattdessen klingt der Song "Electric
Superdance Band" so stark nach "Sgt. Peppers Lonely
Hearts Club Band" von den Beatles, dass die Angst
aufkommt, Deichkind k÷nnten die Ideen ausgehen.

Note: We consider ourselves at MP3 to be ahead of
the game when it comes to audio quality. We prefer
to rip to LAME 3.97b because it yields better sound
quality at a more efficient bitrate. However, the
scene is not yet prepared for 3.97b, as pzs-ng/glftpd
have not yet been updated to detect the presets in
this new encoder. In addition to this, some groups
have been taking advantage of using new LAME versions
or presets and have been sound shaping and altering
bitrates to make re-encoded webrips appear as legit
releases. As such, we have decided to revert to an
outdated version of LAME until the scene is prepared
for an update.
